Why It Works
  • The mushrooms are first cooked in a skillet with Italian sausage, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. This gives the mushrooms a lot of flavor and helps them to retain their moisture.
  • The cream cheese mixture is made with softened cream cheese, cooked Italian sausage, and parsley. This mixture is creamy and flavorful, and it helps to hold the stuffing together.
  • The stuffed mushrooms are then air fried until tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly. This gives the mushrooms a crispy exterior and a tender interior.
  • These stuffed mushrooms are a great way to use up leftover Italian sausage, and they are also a good source of protein and healthy fats.
