  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well.
  3. Roll mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, make the tomato sauce.
  6. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup crushed tomatoes, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup tomato paste, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Add the meatballs to the tomato sauce and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Serve the meatballs with your favorite sides.
