Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well.
Roll mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
While the meatballs are baking, make the tomato sauce.
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup crushed tomatoes, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup tomato paste, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
