Tropical Mango and Papaya Sorbet
This refreshing tropical sorbet is the perfect way to cool down on a hot summer day. Made with just four ingredients, it's easy to make and packed with flavor. The mango and papaya provide a sweet and tangy base, while the lime juice adds a bit of brightness. The sorbet is also dairy-free and gluten-free, so it's a great option for those with dietary restrictions.
I first had this sorbet at a beachside restaurant in Thailand. It was so delicious that I asked the chef for the recipe. He was kind enough to share it with me, and I've been making it ever since. I've tweaked the recipe slightly over the years, but the basic ingredients and method remain the same. This sorbet is now one of my favorite summer treats, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Why It Works
  • The combination of mango and papaya is a classic for a reason. The two fruits complement each other perfectly, with the mango providing sweetness and the papaya adding a bit of tartness.
  • The lime juice adds a bit of brightness to the sorbet, and it also helps to balance out the sweetness of the fruit.
  • The sorbet is made without any dairy or gluten, so it's a great option for those with dietary restrictions.
