Serene Vegetarian Vegetable Burgers
These vegetarian vegetable burgers are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional meat burgers. They are packed with protein and fiber, and they are also low in fat and calories.
The history of the vegetarian burger is a long and winding one. The first known vegetarian burger was created in 1891 by Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, the founder of the Battle Creek Sanitarium. Kellogg's burger was made from a mixture of wheat gluten, soybeans, and nuts. It was not a commercial success, but it did inspire other food scientists to create their own vegetarian burgers.

Why It Works
  • The combination of black beans, lentils, and oats provides a good balance of protein, fiber, and carbohydrates.
  • The onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper add flavor and texture to the burgers.
  • The egg and panko breadcrumbs help to bind the burgers together and give them a crispy exterior.
