Cabbage and Avocado Salad
This vibrant and refreshing salad combines the cool crunch of cabbage with the creamy richness of avocado, and is brought together with a tangy and aromatic lemon-tahini dressing. It's a perfect side dish for grilled meats or fish, or as a light and healthy lunch on its own.
Cabbage and avocado may seem like an unlikely duo, but trust us, they're a match made in salad heaven. The cabbage provides a crisp and refreshing base, while the avocado adds a creamy richness and healthy dose of fats. The red onion adds a bit of bite, and the cilantro brings a bright and herbaceous flavor. And the lemon-tahini dressing? It's the perfect finishing touch, adding a tangy and nutty flavor that ties all the elements together. We first came up with this salad as a way to use up some leftover cabbage and avocado. But it was so good, we knew we had to share it with the world. It's now one of our go-to side dishes, and we're sure it will become one of yours too.
