Creamy Tomato and Basil Soup
This creamy tomato and basil soup is a quick and easy way to warm up on a cold day. The air fryer cooks the tomatoes, onion, and garlic until they are softened, and then the heavy cream, chicken broth, and basil are added. The soup is then pureed until smooth and seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. The result is a rich and flavorful soup that is perfect for a light lunch or dinner.
I first discovered this recipe when I was looking for a way to use up some leftover tomatoes. I had tried roasting them in the oven, but they always came out too dry. Then I remembered that I had an air fryer, and I thought that it would be the perfect way to cook the tomatoes. I was right! The air fryer cooked the tomatoes quickly and evenly, and they came out perfectly softened. I then added the heavy cream, chicken broth, and basil, and cooked the soup for a few more minutes until it was heated through. The result was a delicious and creamy soup that I have been making ever since.
