Portable Keto Taco Bites
These portable keto taco bites are the perfect party appetizer or on-the-go snack. They're made with a wonton wrapper crust, filled with a flavorful ground beef mixture, and topped with melted cheese. The idea for these keto taco bites came to me one day when I was craving tacos but didn't want to eat all the carbs that come with a traditional taco. I started experimenting with different ways to make a low-carb taco shell, and I finally settled on using wonton wrappers. Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package (1 ounce) taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off excess grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook until the liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
  4. Place a wonton wrapper in each cup of a mini muffin tin. Press down to form a cup shape.
  5. Fill each wonton cup with about 1 tablespoon of the ground beef mixture.
  6. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the wonton cups are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
