Why It Works
  • Lemongrass, with its citrusy and slightly floral notes, adds a vibrant freshness to the broth.
  • Ginger, with its warm, spicy, and slightly sweet flavor, provides a subtle yet noticeable depth.
  • The combination of these two ingredients creates a broth that is both refreshing and comforting.
  • The addition of onion, carrot, and celery provides a classic mirepoix foundation, adding sweetness and depth to the broth.
  • Simmering the vegetables in the broth for an extended period extracts their flavors, resulting in a rich and flavorful broth.
