Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll out to a thickness of 1/2 inch.
  6. Cut out doughnuts using a 3-inch doughnut cutter.
  7. Place the doughnuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
