Chicken marinated in harissa paste and lime juice is roasted to crispy, juicy perfection. The result is a flavorful, easy-to-prepare dish that's perfect for any occasion.
Harissa is a North African spice paste that's made from a combination of chili peppers, garlic, cumin, and coriander. It's used to add flavor and heat to a variety of dishes, from soups and stews to grilled meats and vegetables. Lime juice is another common ingredient in North African cuisine, and it adds a bright, citrusy flavor to the harissa marinade. When the chicken is roasted in the oven, the harissa paste and lime juice caramelize on the skin, creating a crispy, flavorful crust. The chicken itself remains juicy and tender, thanks to the marinade. This dish is a perfect example of how simple ingredients can be combined to create a delicious and satisfying meal.

Why It Works
The harissa paste adds a depth of flavor to the chicken and the lime juice helps to brighten the flavor profile.
The marinade helps to tenderize the chicken and the olive oil helps to keep it moist.
Roasting the chicken in the oven gives it a crispy skin and allows the flavors to develop fully.
