Apple crumble is a classic dessert that has been enjoyed for centuries. It is believed to have originated in England in the 16th century, and it quickly became a popular dish in the United States as well. The original apple crumble was made with just apples, flour, and sugar, but over time, it has evolved to include a variety of different ingredients, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and walnuts. Our version of apple crumble is made with a creamy custard, which adds a richness and depth of flavor to the dish. We also use a combination of old-fashioned rolled oats and chopped walnuts for the topping, which gives it a crunchy texture. The result is a dish that is both comforting and delicious.
