Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh grated coconut
  • 1 cup jaggery
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg powder
Instructions
  1. In a heavy bottomed pan, combine the coconut, jaggery, water, nuts, ghee, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.
  2. Heat on medium flame, stirring continuously till the jaggery melts and the mixture starts to thicken.
  3. Continue to cook on low flame, stirring occasionally till the mixture becomes thick and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly onto a greased tray and allow it to cool completely.
  5. Cut into squares and serve.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
