Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the almonds, sugar, honey, and water.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened and the almonds are glazed.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture onto a greased baking sheet and spread it out into a thin layer.
- Let cool completely and break into pieces.
