Ingredients
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon rose water
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts, if desired
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit, if desired
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, milk, sugar, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the rose water.
  4. Serve the rice pudding warm or cold, topped with nuts and dried fruit, if desired.
