Ingredients
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup warm water (105-115 degrees F)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as basil, oregano, or thyme)

In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes, until the yeast is foamy.
Stir in the olive oil, salt, and flour. Knead the dough for 5 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.
Stir in the fresh herbs.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and divide it in half. Roll out each half into a 12-inch circle.
Top the dough with your favorite pizza toppings and bake at 450 degrees F for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
