The Buddha bowl is a relatively new dish, but it's quickly become a popular choice for health-conscious eaters. It's thought to have originated in the United States in the early 2000s, and it's likely inspired by the traditional Tibetan dish of tingmo, which is a bowl of rice, vegetables, and meat. The Buddha bowl is a vegan and gluten-free version of tingmo, and it's typically served with a variety of toppings, such as avocado, hummus, and tahini.
