Sriracha-Spiked Shrimp Tempura with Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce
A fun and flavorful twist on classic tempura, this shrimp tempura is spiked with sriracha for a bit of a kick. The sweet chili dipping sauce is the perfect complement to the crispy, flavorful shrimp.

Ingredients
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup sriracha
1/2 cup water
Vegetable oil, for frying
Sweet chili dipping sauce, for serving
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the sriracha and water.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Dip the shrimp in the batter and coat evenly.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Fry the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Drain the shrimp on paper towels.
Serve the shrimp with the sweet chili dipping sauce.
