Ingredients
  • 12 artichokes
  • 1 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Cut off the stems of the artichokes and trim the leaves to create a flat bottom.
  3. Remove the fuzzy choke from the center of each artichoke.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, basil, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice.
  5. Stuff the artichokes with the bread crumb mixture.
  6. Place the artichokes in a baking dish and add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the dish.
  7. Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the artichokes are tender and golden brown.
