Besan Laddu
These traditional Indian sweets are made with chickpea flour, ghee, and sugar. They are a popular dessert for festivals and special occasions.

Ingredients
- 1 cup besan (chickpea flour)
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, toast the besan, stirring constantly, until it turns a light golden brown.
- Add the ghee to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Add the sugar to the skillet and stir to dissolve.
- Add the water to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Continue to stir until the mixture thickens and forms a ball.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the cardamom powder and nuts (if using).
- Drop the mixture by rounded tablespoons onto a greased baking sheet.
- Allow the laddus to cool completely before serving.
