It can be served with rice, chapati, or even just a big hunk of bread.
The history of Kerala vegetable stew is a long and winding one, dating back to the days of the ancient spice trade. Kerala, located on the southwestern coast of India, was a major hub for the spice trade, and as a result, its cuisine is heavily influenced by the flavors of the East. Over time, the traditional Kerala vegetable stew evolved to include a variety of vegetables, spices, and coconut milk, which gives it its characteristic rich and creamy texture. Today, Kerala vegetable stew is a popular dish throughout India, and it is often served at special occasions. It is a versatile dish that can be made with a variety of vegetables, and it can be tailored to your own taste preferences. For example, if you like your stew spicy, you can add more chili peppers. Or, if you prefer a milder flavor, you can omit the chili peppers altogether.
