Butternut Squash Purée with Crispy Sage and Pomegranate Seeds

Ingredients
1 medium butternut squash, peeled and cubed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh sage
1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Toss butternut squash with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread squash on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender.
Transfer squash to a blender or food processor and purée until smooth.
