Kataifi Pastry with Nuts and Honey
Kataifi is a shredded filo dough pastry popular in Middle Eastern and Greek cuisine. It's made by stretching the dough into fine strands, then baking it until crispy. This recipe combines kataifi with nuts and honey for a sweet and crunchy dessert.
Kataifi pastry has been around for centuries, and its origins are shrouded in mystery. Some say it originated in Persia, while others believe it came from Turkey or Greece. Wherever it came from, kataifi has become a popular dessert throughout the Middle East and beyond.
