Healing Turmeric and Ginger Elixir
This comforting elixir combines the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric and ginger to soothe the body and reduce inflammation.

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh turmeric
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the mixture has reduced by about half.
- Strain into a mug and enjoy.
- Add honey or maple syrup to taste, if desired.
