Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the mixture has reduced by about half.
  4. Strain into a mug and enjoy.
  5. Add honey or maple syrup to taste, if desired.
