This skin-calming lotion is made with aloe vera, coconut milk, coconut oil, shea butter, lavender essential oil, chamomile essential oil, vitamin E oil, and cornstarch. It's perfect for soothing dry, irritated skin.
This lotion was inspired by a trip I took to the Caribbean. I was suffering from a bad case of sunburned skin, and I desperately needed something to soothe the pain and inflammation. I found a local woman who sold me a homemade lotion made with aloe vera, coconut milk, and other natural ingredients. It worked wonders on my skin, and I've been using it ever since.

Why It Works
Aloe vera is a natural anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent. It helps to soothe and heal irritated skin.
Coconut milk is rich in fatty acids, which help to moisturize and protect the skin.
Coconut oil is also a good moisturizer, and it helps to create a barrier on the skin that protects it from further irritation.
Shea butter is a natural emollient that helps to soften and smooth the skin.
Lavender essential oil is a calming and relaxing oil that helps to reduce inflammation.
Chamomile essential oil is another calming and anti-inflammatory oil.
Vitamin E oil is a powerful antioxidant that helps to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
Cornstarch helps to absorb excess oil and moisture, leaving the skin feeling smooth and matte.
