Liver-Detoxifying Dandelion Root Tea

Ingredients
- 1 cup dandelion root, chopped
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)
Instructions
- Place the dandelion root in a saucepan and add the water.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a cup and sweeten with honey or maple syrup, if desired.
- Add cinnamon and ginger, if desired.
