The idea for this recipe came to me one cold winter night when I was looking for something hearty and flavorful to eat. I had some leftover rabbit meat in the fridge, and I thought it would be perfect for a gratin. I also had some turnips that I needed to use up, so I decided to add them to the gratin as well. The result was a dish that was both delicious and comforting. The rabbit meat was tender and juicy, and the turnips were soft and flavorful. The sauce was rich and creamy, and the nutritional yeast added a cheesy flavor to the dish. I've been making this gratin ever since, and it has become one of my favorite winter dishes.
