Wild Boar Ribs with BBQ Sauce and Bourbon Glaze
Wild boar ribs are a delicious and flavorful cut of meat that can be cooked in a variety of ways. One of our favorite ways to cook them is to braise them in a rich BBQ sauce made with bourbon and honey. The bourbon adds a smoky sweetness to the sauce, while the honey helps to caramelize the ribs and create a beautiful glaze. The result is a fall-off-the-bone tender rib that is packed with flavor.
The first time I had wild boar ribs was on a hunting trip in the mountains of Tennessee. We had been hiking all day, and we were all tired and hungry. We set up camp and started cooking dinner over a campfire. One of the guys in our group had brought some wild boar ribs, and he cooked them over the fire. The ribs were so tender and flavorful, and I was hooked. I've been cooking wild boar ribs ever since, and this is my favorite recipe.
