Pesto Crusted Salmon
This pesto-crusted salmon is a quick and easy way to get a flavorful, healthy meal on the table. The pesto sauce adds a bright, herbaceous flavor, while the almond flour crust gives the salmon a satisfying crunch. Best of all, this dish can be cooked in just 15 minutes, making it perfect for a weeknight dinner.
The idea for this recipe came to me one night when I was trying to figure out what to make for dinner. I had some salmon in the fridge, but I didn't want to just grill it or bake it plain. I wanted something with a little more flavor. I started thinking about what I could add to the salmon to give it some extra oomph, and I eventually settled on pesto. I love the bright, herbaceous flavor of pesto, and I thought it would be a great way to add some interest to the salmon. I also decided to add a crunchy crust to the salmon, so I mixed together some almond flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. The almond flour crust gives the salmon a nice crunch, and it also helps to keep the salmon moist and juicy. I baked the salmon in a preheated oven until it was cooked through and the crust was golden brown. The salmon was delicious! The pesto sauce added a wonderful flavor, and the almond flour crust was the perfect finishing touch. My family loved this recipe, and I'm sure you will too.
