Ingredients
  • 2 pounds of grass-fed beef bones
  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 large onion, quartered
  • 3 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 parsnip, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 ounce dried burdock root
  • 1/4 ounce dried nettle leaf
Instructions
  1. Place the bones in a large pot or slow cooker and cover them with water.
  2. Add the apple cider vinegar and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 12-24 hours, or until the bones are soft and falling apart.
  4. Strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean container.
  5. Discard the bones and vegetables.
  6. Let the broth cool slightly before serving.
