Ingredients
2 pounds of grass-fed beef bones
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
1 large onion, quartered
3 carrots, peeled and chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
1 parsnip, peeled and chopped
1/2 ounce dried burdock root
1/4 ounce dried nettle leaf
Instructions
Place the bones in a large pot or slow cooker and cover them with water.
Add the apple cider vinegar and bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 12-24 hours, or until the bones are soft and falling apart.
Strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean container.
