Why It Works
  • Quinoa is a complete protein, meaning that it contains all of the essential amino acids that your body needs to function properly.
  • Black beans are a good source of fiber and protein, and they also contain antioxidants that can help to protect your cells from damage.
  • Red onion and green bell pepper add flavor, vitamins, and minerals to the bowl.
  • Cilantro adds a fresh, herbaceous flavor to the bowl.
  • Lime juice adds a bright, citrusy flavor to the bowl and helps to balance out the other flavors.
  • Salt and pepper help to enhance the flavors of the other ingredients.
