The inspiration for these firecracker ginger carrot shots came to me in a dream. I was visiting my grandmother's farm in the countryside, and she was making a batch of her famous fermented carrot juice. The smell of the fermenting vegetables and spices filled the air, and I was immediately transported back to my childhood. I remember sitting on the porch, sipping on a glass of my grandmother's carrot juice, and feeling the warm glow of the sun on my face. It was a simple, yet perfect moment.
When I woke up, I knew that I had to recreate my grandmother's carrot juice. But I wanted to give it a modern twist, so I added some firecracker spices to the mix. The result is these delicious and refreshing fermented firecracker ginger carrot shots. They're the perfect way to start your day or give yourself a midday boost. Plus, they're packed with gut-healthy probiotics, vitamin C, and antioxidants.
I've been making these shots for myself and my family for the past few months, and we all love them. They're a great way to get your daily dose of vegetables, and they're also a delicious and refreshing treat. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Why It Works
The combination of carrots, ginger, bell pepper, and jalapeño peppers gives these shots a delicious and complex flavor.
The apple cider vinegar and sea salt help to create a brine that encourages the growth of beneficial bacteria.
The probiotic powder (if desired) adds even more beneficial bacteria to the shots.
The fermentation process breaks down the vegetables and makes them easier to digest.
The resulting shots are packed with gut-healthy probiotics, vitamin C, and antioxidants.
