These crispy air fryer ginger-lime salmon bites are a quick and easy way to enjoy a healthy and delicious meal. The salmon is coated in a flavorful mixture of lime juice, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper, then air fried until crispy. The result is a perfectly cooked piece of salmon that is moist on the inside and crispy on the outside.
This recipe was inspired by my travels to Thailand, where I had the pleasure of eating some of the most delicious salmon I have ever tasted. The salmon was cooked in a banana leaf over an open fire, and the result was a perfectly cooked piece of fish that was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. I have been trying to recreate that same flavor ever since, and I am happy to say that I have finally succeeded with this recipe.
Prep time: 10 | Cook time: 12 | Serves: 4
Ingredients
1 pound salmon, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine the salmon, olive oil, lime juice, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat the salmon evenly.
Place the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and crispy.
Serve immediately.
Why It Works
The air fryer cooks the salmon quickly and evenly, resulting in a perfectly cooked piece of fish.
The lime juice, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper add a delicious flavor to the salmon.
The crispy coating helps to keep the salmon moist on the inside.
