Air Fryer Paleo Carrot Fries
These paleo carrot fries are a healthy and delicious alternative to traditional french fries. They're made with only four ingredients and are easy to make in the air fryer.
I first developed this recipe when I was looking for a healthier way to enjoy french fries. I tried a few different recipes, but I wasn't happy with any of them. They were either too soft, too oily, or too bland. Finally, I came up with this recipe, and it's the best one I've tried yet. The carrots are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and they're seasoned with just the right amount of salt and pepper.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds carrots, peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Toss the carrots with the olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the carrots in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the carrots are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Shake the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even cooking.
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Why It Works
  • The air fryer circulates hot air around the carrots, which helps them to cook evenly and quickly.
  • The olive oil helps to keep the carrots from sticking to the air fryer basket.
  • The salt and pepper add flavor to the carrots.
