Longhorn Bison Burgers
These juicy, flavorful bison burgers are a healthier alternative to traditional beef burgers, thanks to the lean bison meat and the almond and coconut flours, which add a nutty flavor and help to keep the burgers moist. They're perfect for a quick and easy weeknight meal, and they can be topped with your favorite burger fixings.
The history of the bison burger is a long and storied one, dating back to the days of the American frontier. Bison were once a plentiful source of food for Native Americans, and they were also hunted by European settlers for their meat and hides. In the late 19th century, the bison population was nearly wiped out due to overhunting, but conservation efforts in the early 20th century helped to bring the species back from the brink of extinction. Today, bison are once again a popular source of meat, and bison burgers are a delicious and healthy way to enjoy this lean and flavorful protein.
