Juicy and flavorful, these ribs are a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The hoisin sauce, ginger, and garlic give them an irresistible Asian flavor that will make your taste buds sing.
I've always been a fan of ribs, but I've never been able to find a recipe that I really loved. They were either too dry, too tough, or just didn't have enough flavor. So I decided to create my own recipe, and after a lot of trial and error, I finally found the perfect combination of ingredients and techniques.
Prep time: 15 | Cook time: 30 | Serves: 4
Ingredients
1 rack baby back pork ribs (about 2 pounds)
1 tablespoon coconut aminos
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Remove ribs from packaging and pat dry.
In a small bowl, whisk together coconut aminos, rice vinegar, honey, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger and garlic.
Brush ribs with glaze on all sides.
Place ribs in air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes.
Flip ribs and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until ribs are cooked through and tender.
Let ribs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Slice ribs and serve with remaining glaze.
Why It Works
The combination of coconut aminos, rice vinegar, honey, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, and garlic creates a flavorful glaze that penetrates deep into the ribs.
The air fryer cooks the ribs quickly and evenly, resulting in a juicy and tender texture.
The ribs are finished with a glaze of the remaining juices, which adds an extra layer of flavor and keeps them moist.
