The story of these gigantic gorilla garlic knots begins in the remote mountains of Tibet. A young monk, named Tenzin, was on a spiritual journey when he came across a group of gorillas. The gorillas were huge and powerful, but they were also gentle and kind. Tenzin spent many days with the gorillas, learning their ways and sharing his own. One day, Tenzin asked the gorillas if they could teach him how to make their favorite food. The gorillas were happy to oblige, and they showed Tenzin how to make a simple dough from almond flour and tapioca flour. Tenzin was so grateful for the gorillas' gift that he promised to return one day and share their recipe with the world. Many years later, Tenzin returned to Tibet and opened a small bakery. He named the bakery "The Gorilla Knots Bakery" in honor of his gorilla friends. Tenzin's gorilla knots were an instant hit, and people from all over the world came to taste them. Today, The Gorilla Knots Bakery is one of the most popular bakeries in Tibet, and Tenzin's recipe for gorilla knots has been passed down through generations.
