Air Fryer Mushrooms
Air Fryer Mushrooms are a quick and easy way to get your veggie fix. They're crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. Plus, they're a great way to use up any leftover mushrooms you have lying around.
I've always been a fan of mushrooms, but I never really knew how to cook them properly. I would always end up with soggy, rubbery mushrooms that were anything but appetizing. But then I discovered the air fryer, and everything changed. Air fryers are a great way to cook mushrooms because they circulate hot air around the food, which results in crispy, evenly cooked mushrooms. Plus, air fryers are super easy to use, so you don't have to be a professional chef to make delicious air fryer mushrooms.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound mushrooms (such as cremini, oyster, or shiitake)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the mushrooms, olive oil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  4. Spread the mushrooms in an even layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and slightly browned.
  6. Shake the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even cooking.
  7. Serve immediately.
Why It Works
  • The high heat of the air fryer helps to quickly evaporate the moisture from the mushrooms, resulting in crispy, tender mushrooms.
  • The olive oil helps to coat the mushrooms and prevent them from sticking to the air fryer basket.
  • The oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper add flavor to the mushrooms.
