The Passionfruit Margarita is a refreshing and flavorful cocktail that is perfect for summer. It is made with tequila, passionfruit juice, lime juice, orange liqueur, and honey. The passionfruit juice gives the margarita a tropical flavor, while the lime juice and orange liqueur add a bit of tartness and sweetness. The honey adds a touch of sweetness and helps to balance out the flavors. The margarita is garnished with a lime wedge for a fresh and citrusy finish.
The Passionfruit Margarita was created by bartender Sam Ross at Milk & Honey in New York City in the early 2000s. Ross was inspired to create the margarita after trying a passionfruit cocktail that he had while on vacation in Mexico. He wanted to create a margarita that was both refreshing and flavorful, and he thought that passionfruit would be the perfect ingredient. The Passionfruit Margarita quickly became a popular cocktail at Milk & Honey, and it has since become a classic cocktail that is enjoyed by people all over the world.
