Ingredients
  • 1 cup vegan dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup vegan dark chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and coconut cream together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  2. Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  3. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes, then transfer it to a piping bag fitted with a small round tip.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Pipe the ganache mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 1-inch truffles.
  6. Freeze the truffles for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  7. In a small bowl, combine the melted chocolate and coconut oil.
  8. Dip the frozen truffles into the chocolate mixture, then roll them in cocoa powder.
  9. Repeat until all of the truffles are coated.
  10. Let the truffles set for a few minutes before serving.
