Umami-Rich Mushroom and Swiss Green Veggie Burgers
These mushroom and Swiss veggie burgers are packed with umami flavor, thanks to the combination of mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and Parmesan cheese. They're also easy to make and can be cooked in just a few minutes.
I've always been a fan of veggie burgers, but I've never been able to find one that I really love. They're often dry, crumbly, and lacking in flavor. So I decided to create my own recipe for a mushroom and Swiss veggie burger that would be juicy, flavorful, and easy to make.

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Why It Works
  • The combination of mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and Parmesan cheese creates a rich, umami flavor.
  • The egg (optional) helps to bind the ingredients together and create a juicy burger.
  • Cooking the burgers in a hot skillet creates a golden brown crust and seals in the juices.
