This dairy-free Alfredo sauce is a creamy, flavorful, and versatile sauce that can be used on pasta, vegetables, or as a dip. It's made with just a few simple ingredients and is ready in minutes.
Alfredo sauce is a classic Italian sauce that is typically made with butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese. However, this dairy-free version is just as delicious and creamy, but it's also vegan and gluten-free. I first developed this recipe when I was looking for a dairy-free Alfredo sauce that I could use on my favorite pasta dishes. I experimented with a few different ingredients and came up with this recipe, which is now my go-to Alfredo sauce.

1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Why It Works
The cashews give the sauce a creamy texture and a nutty flavor.
The nutritional yeast adds a cheesy flavor to the sauce.
The olive oil adds richness and flavor to the sauce.
The lemon juice adds a bit of brightness and acidity to the sauce.
The vegetable broth helps to thin out the sauce and make it more pourable.
The garlic powder, salt, and black pepper add flavor to the sauce.
