Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard seeds (or a mixture of brown and yellow mustard seeds)
  • 1 tablespoon coarse grain Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
  1. Toast the mustard seeds in a small skillet over medium heat until they are fragrant and slightly browned, about 2 minutes.
  2. Combine the toasted mustard seeds, coarse grain Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, white wine vinegar, water, honey, salt, turmeric powder, and cayenne pepper in a blender or food processor.
  3. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 1 minute.
  4. Transfer the mustard to a jar or container and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before using.
  5. The mustard will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
