A creamy and herb-infused lemon-garlic dip that's perfect for any occasion. It's made with a combination of Greek yogurt, extra light olive oil, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, dill, salt, pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flakes. The dip is refrigerated for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld, then served with vegetable crudités, whole grain crackers, or pita chips for dipping.
This dip was inspired by a trip to Greece, where I had the pleasure of tasting a variety of delicious dips and spreads. One of my favorites was a creamy lemon-garlic dip that was served with vegetable crudités. I was immediately hooked on the combination of flavors, and I knew that I had to recreate it at home. After a few experiments, I came up with this recipe, which is a close approximation of the dip I had in Greece. It's creamy, flavorful, and refreshing, and it's perfect for any occasion. I like to serve it with vegetable crudités, whole grain crackers, or pita chips for dipping.
