These Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites were born out of a craving for something sweet and satisfying, but without all the guilt. I've always loved cookie dough, but the traditional version is loaded with sugar and flour, two things I try to avoid. So I set out to create a healthier alternative that would still satisfy my cravings.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the almond butter, oats, maple syrup, cacao powder, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  3. Stir until well combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
