Cauliflower Crust Mini Pizzas
You've been there before: you're craving pizza, but you know that a traditional pizza crust is off-limits. You could order a gluten-free pizza, but those are often dry and tasteless. Or, you could make your own cauliflower pizza crust. Cauliflower crust pizzas are a great way to get your pizza fix without all the guilt. They're also a good option for people who are gluten-free or have other dietary restrictions.
The first cauliflower crust pizza was created by a man named Anthony Spina in 2010. Spina was looking for a way to make a pizza that was both healthy and delicious, and he came up with the idea of using cauliflower as the crust. The pizza was a hit, and soon other restaurants started to offer cauliflower crust pizzas. Today, cauliflower crust pizzas are a popular menu item at many restaurants, and they're also a popular choice for home cooks.

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the toppings are heated through.
Why It Works
  • Cauliflower is a low-carb, high-fiber vegetable that makes a great substitute for flour in pizza crust.
  • The almond flour and nutritional yeast give the crust a nutty flavor and a chewy texture.
  • The oregano, garlic powder, and salt add flavor to the crust.
  • The cheese and toppings melt together to create a delicious and satisfying pizza.
